Rocky Mountain National Park.

Hey guys! We've written a little something in a journal we've just started so I'll spare you the typing, however... this blog is a bit lengthy and yet full of great photos!! We hope you enjoy!

MY PHOTOS:

Cub Lake Trailhead...
First shot of the hike.

I love Aspen Trees!

Pretty Flowers.

He's so strong! lol

My hiking buddy :)

Pano of the hiking trail.

Look at him... he was a photo takin fool for once!

Not even half way...

We had photo wars haha Needless to say, I won!

My boy <3 onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE3AEFmRGd62M_6qUPVmKa2QMejeZT7MM3kdTBuZvZewJqI3ZmQ56TDSagwUsAbhI0CbdHAD9MpBi5BUWuHOKxDRKjJX_wPEE9rCoa1Xs3X2eeRc48y4MGz6qtXWZN4LdSXC94STutBk4/s1600-h/_MG_3337.jpg">
I liked the reflections in the lake.

Just liked how it looked.

Flowers again...

The awesome yellow fuzzy butterfly.

There he goes!

A tiny waterfall on our way up.

More Aspen trees.

Flowers x like 3 lol

Finally made it up to Cub Lake!

Pano of Cub Lake and Zach <3
Chillin on the rocks.

The duck that attempted to attack Zach lol

He's finally used to my constant picture taking! lol

Here we are headed back down the path...

Wow... another flower lol

OH! The coolest rabbit I've ever seen... He was huge and right in the middle of our path. We took several photos of him hoping away.

Still on our way home.

Finally made it back to the car!

Welcome to campsite 142.

Pano of our campsite. The tent my mom gave me about a year ago... finally got to use it!
Zach was tired after our 4.3 mile hike ... hahah

Headed out for another hike. This was a 10 mile drive to Bear Lake and about a 265ft hike around the entire lake.

Pano of Bear Lake.
And on that hike we found the 3 chipmunks. Here's Simon. He was literally a foot or less away from Zach's leg just chillin on the rock and eating.

A view from where we stood with Simon.

The next little pullout on the hike.

Here we have Theodore hahaha He was THE fattest chipmunk I've ever seen.

And here he's posing for the camera...
And here he is again eating a cheeze it he pulled out of his hole lol
Standin on a rock, lookin over the lake.

A view to our right

Another cool reflection.

Zach got angry... they always posed for me, but every time he took their photo they'd turn away, hide, or run off lol. This is Alvin.

Later that night as we drove to throw the trash away, we spotted elk! We went back to camp, grabbed our cameras, and headed down.

A cool shot in the valley...

Pretty sunset in the valley.

Panos of the Elk.

5 little baby elk. Lion king much? lol

Close up of the babies.

Elk

On our hike back to camp I spotted the moon and thought it'd be cool.

We took a scenic drive and here's a pullout that over looks the valley we camped in.

Zachary :)

Elk right off the side of the road. (Pano)

We parked and hiked over to get a better shot.

Love this.

Female Elk

Again he was right off the side of the road. Luckily no one was behind us and we were able to stop.

Volcanic Ash from 26 million years ago.
