Zach's Mini Vacation & the 4th of July.

Zach has had the last four days off and still has today and tomorrow off! I can't believe he was able to get this holiday off so that we can celebrate the 4th and my birthday Here in Denver! We have had such a wonderful time. Each day has brought something new for us. We've gone on more dates these last 4 days than we have in probably six months haha For the most part, we stay inside as it has been far too hot and humid here the last week or so, but we have ventured outside to walk the dog, photoshoots, run errands, see movies and such, but it's always nice to return to the cool house and relax. Butters and myself have no idea what we'll do when he actually has to go back to work. It will be devastating and lonely in this household lol

Anywho, Friday after my photoshoot we headed home to cool off. We were both drenched in sweat from the already hot morning. We ended up just lounging around the rest of the day and when it began to cool off, we made dinner and enjoyed the great outdoors. What was really neat, was that Zach busted out his food tray my mom bought for him from Alcatraz haha Check it out!

This is Zach's food tray loaded up with food. I tried a new recipe... homemade Chicken, Asparagus, and mushroom Stir Fry.
We also got some Strawberry Champagne... pretty yummy.

I'd say Zach Like it!

The saddest look I have ever seen Butters give...
Zach being goofy...

This is what we got to enjoy while we ate. So pretty!
As we were about to go in, we decided to check on our little garden. Our radishes are flowering...
And growing like nobody's business... you can no longer read the radish sign.
And they're over taking the box. We did thin them out again and we're getting ready to harvest our first batch of radishes!
Mostly a radish and carrot box... we do have 2 cucumber plants and 1 chili plant coming up now :)
And my wild flowers are finally starting to flower too!!!!

Last night we went into the city and watched a Denver Outlaw Lacross game. It was fabulous! We got to watch this great game held inside Invesco field (where the Bronco's play) and afterwards got to watch an AMAZING fireworks show... how will the tonight's top it?! Zach said he almost doesn't want to go out tonight in fear they will be a let down after last nights lol

First arriving to the stadium... we were very early so it gave us time to sit and check out the view of the Denver Skyline.
Denver Skyline.
Me and Zach waiting out the rain.
Finally gates opened and we're headed in to find our seats.
Zach's first time at this stadium. He was excited not only to watch the lacross, but because this would be his 2nd time in a football stadium.
In our seats! Waiting for the game to start!! <3
The Outlaws (that's us) played against the Boston Cannons. Going into this game the Outlaws were 6-1 and sadly, they lost last night, but it was a great game all the way through. I didn't bring my big lens. I was more focused on getting shots of the fireworks haha plus I wanted to watch the game rather than photograph it, but I did snap a few ... nothing too special.

That's only a quarter of the stadium view! It's huge. Guess how many were in attendance? 27,000 crazy!!

The coolest half time show! There was a dog and their owner in each corner. They all did tricks however we were lucky enough to get the most talented in our corner. Check these guys out! We need to teach Butters some of this lol

The dog ran and jumped off his back...
Caught the frisbee...
with style!

Oh yeah and he can jump sideways to catch it, run the length of the football field to catch it (crazy how fast these guys are), and can balance on the feet of his owner while the owner is on his back (think when we were little and played airplane while our parents held us up with their feet). Crazy mad skill. We can't event get Butters to play catch lol

Funniest thing I've seen posted on a jumbo tron... The cheater cam. He was fouled for making an inappropriate play (smacked a guy with the stick) and was sidelined. Then he gets televised for being a cheater hahahahaha

Other than all of the above, I've been busy editing images from Alcatraz and San Fran. A blog is on the way, but I decided to post these first to wish you all a HAPPY 4th of JULY!!! We'll be beginning our BBQ here shortly then heading over to get a spot for our cities celebration. Lets hope it all goes well :) Be safe and have fun! We love you all!!

p.s. Happy Birthday to Kenny!
